Generally, the longer your hair is, the easier it will be to braid. That’s because you’ll need to securely hold the different strands of hair to weave them into a braid. Shorter hair makes it harder to keep a grip on the sections while weaving them. It’s ideal to braid with hair at least 5+ inches long.
