What size do seed beads come in?
The most common sizes of seed beads that you’ll come across are sizes 6/0, 8/0, 11/0 and 15/0. Seed bead sizes are a little confusing because the smaller the bead size, the larger it is! For example a size 6/0 seed bead is larger than a size 11/0 seed bead.
Are 15 0 seed beads smaller than 11 0?
Here’s a quick review of seed bead sizing for my new beaders out there: Seed bead sizes decrease as the measurement number increases. In other words, a 15/0 bead is smaller than an 11/0 bead, which is in tur n smaller than an 8/0 bead.
What is the difference between Toho and Miyuki seed beads?
There is a big difference between Seed Beads from Miyuki and seed beads from Toho. Miyuki seed beads are far more indifferent than Toho beads. The seed beads of Miyuki are round, just like Toho beads, but some are a bit larger than the rest of the pack. Toho seed beads are mostly the same round seed beads.
